A great free online images editor thta we use is called Aviary

 

You can use Aviary by going to their website at:

 

http://www.aviary.com/online/image-editor

 

Once this page has loaded.

 

1. Click 'Start From Scratch'

 

 

 

 

2. Enter the exact slide size you require

(the standard size is 960 x 281 pixels)

 

Enter the background colour if desired then click 'create'

 

 

 

 

 

3. To add your own photo click

 

'File --> Import File'

 

 

 

and select the image from your computer. Once you have slected the image click 'Uload File'

 

 

Please note:
this image may take a while to load depending on your internet connection speed and hte size of the image you are uploading

 

 

 

 

 

4. Once the image has loaded you can move / transform the image.

 

To do this click on the Move Tool - (top button on the left of screen)

or you can resize the image by clicking the 'Transformation Tool' - (under the 'move' button on the left of screen)

 

 

Hint:

Once you have finished with the tool double cright click on the image to stop moving the image

 

If you wish to add more photos simply repeat step 3 above

 

 

5. Once you have finished creating your new slide you need to save it to your computer

 

select File --> Export Image

 

 

 

6. Important

Make sure you select .jog from the file type drop down

 

then select 'Generate Image'

 

 

 

7. Once the image has been created you can then click the 'download' button to save the image to your computer
